Harvi Millar

Halifax-based St. Lucian-born Harvey Millar plays a hip bopping, funky, jazzy guitar. He punctuates his urban/smooth jazz sound with scats and rhythmic licks guaranteed to take you on an electrifying tour of his unique style of musical expression. 

Millar’s love for Jazz was given birth following exposure to live jazz for the first time at the age of 15. Treated to provocative and sensational music of the Luther Francois Trio, featuring Luther Francois on guitar, piano, and flute, Emerson Nurse on Drums, and Mervin Francois on bass, Millar became an instant fan of the guitar. To this day, owns the very guitar played by Luther Francois at that turning point in his life.
