Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canadian R&B artist JRDNenters an exciting new chapter in 2026—balancing a powerfulsolo resurgence with a dynamic new role as frontman ofHalifax-based soul collective Lane Hall.
JRDN first emerged on the national stage with his 2010 debutalbum IAMJRDN, which produced the Gold-certified hits “UCan Have It All” and “Like Magic”, with the latter earning himthe 2012 SOCAN Urban Music Award, reaching #1 on theMuch and MuchMore Music video charts. He also receivednominations for New Artist of the Year and R&B/SoulRecording of the Year at the 2012 Juno Awards, solidifying hisplace as one of Canada’s most promising R&B voices.
Now in 2026, JRDN is expanding his artistry even further as thelead singer of Halifax-based soul collective Lane Hall. Blendingrich live instrumentation with timeless soul influences andcontemporary polish, the band has quickly built momentum withthe release of three singles: “Holding,” “Little Things,” and “Top OfThe Charts.” With a full-length LP slated for release at thebeginning of the second quarter of 2026, Lane Hall is positioningitself as one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting emerging soul acts.

ADINA is a Neo Soul/Folk Artist with soul soothing vocals and heart warming lyrics. Hailing fromNorth Preston, Adina gained her love of music growing up surrounded by her musicalCountry/Gospel Family. Adina has received the ANSMA Portia White Youth award 2021, andthe Creative Nova Scotia Portia White Protege Award 2022. Her most notable performancesbeing during Nova Scotia Music Week 2025, Crescendo Festival, Multiple shows of the AfricanNova Scotia Music Association, Halifax Jazz Festival and most recently the Romerias de MayoFestival in Holguin Cuba. Through passion and dedication, ADINA’s story is just beginning.

If you’re into east coast music, chances are you’ve heard Chris Kirby’s work lately. TheNewfoundland-born songwriter, producer and musician regularly works with some of Canada’sfinest artists; Kirby’s deep catalogue of co-writes includes the #1 Canadian Rock radio hit “TheBreakdown” (The Trews), and a slew of other popular releases from the likes of Matt Andersen,Logan Richard, The East Pointers, and Wide Mouth Mason. Many of his songs and cuts havebeen placed in TV and Film in Canada and USA (CBC, CTV, ABC, Hallmark and more).
An in-demand producer, Chris has produced award-winning projects for artists including YvetteLorraine (NL), Quote the Raven (NL), Andrew Waite (PE) and Charlie A’Court (NS) and many more.
Lately, Chris has been busy touring as a musician for Matt Andersen. You may have also seenhim onstage playing accordion for Alan Doyle, or guitar and keyboards for artists like Amy Helm,Wide Mouth Mason, Charlie A’Court, and Geoff Arseneault.
It’s no surprise that all of these roles keep Kirby very busy. Nonetheless, Chris continues tocreate his own music and is working on new material for 2026.
