SheJam Blues is an ever-evolving collective of prominent women musicians that share their love ofupbeat jazz, blues and pop genres through original and classic arrangements and compositions. Halifaxbandleader and songwriter, Krisanne Crowell, has aimed to assemble and showcase the talents of bothexperienced and new performers in groups ranging from duos to 8-piece horn bands. Theirperformances have proven them to be crowd favorites at Halifax Jazz Festival, Halifax Central Library,Parrsboro Band Days, with sold out shows at Cape Breton Jazz Fest and The Wooden Monkey Restaurantin Dartmouth. Excited to perform at the Bent Ridge music series, SheJamBlues Trio brings togetherKrisanne Crowell on piano & vocals, Sue Street on drums, while featuring newest inductee and recent St. F.X. graduate, Angelina McCaughan on tenor saxophone.

The three have played together in many different formations; Jazzette, Cynthetics, in theatre productions and now this delicious little project exploring rare and forgotten tunes. Frederic Mujica ''The Lost Tourist'' is a Latin musician from Kentville Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. Frederic Mujica is a young multi-talented Musician from a small province in Cuba named Sanctis Spiritus. His music caught the ears of fellow Cubans and soaked into the souls of traveling vacationers.This professional singer and musician has come a very long way. Frederic started singing when he was only 8 years old. Frederic arrived in Canada in May of 2009 and since then he has managed to gather quite the fan base in the Annapolis Valley. This engaging performer has performed at the highest rated resorts in Cuba and for crowds from all over the world.
