October 9 - Jesse Patrick
Jesse Patrick is a 2021 NS music award nominee and 2023 International singer songwriter award winning artist from Dartmouth NS. From battler rapper to blues guitarist, Jesse brings an eclectic style like no other fusing vintage sounds with youthful vibrancy. With covers spanning all eras and genres Jesse's energy and crowd work keeps audiences wanting more.
October 16 - Morgan davis
For nearly 60 years Morgan Davis has been playing the blues, traveling across Canada, the U.S. and Europe. His performances draw from a lifelong study of the rich tradition of country blues, re-interpreting songs of the 1920s and 30s on electric instruments. His original compositions are infused with wit and a good dose of humour.
October 23 - inigo cuartero
Inigo delivers crowd-favorite songs across a range of familiar genres with a twist of his style; acoustic, rhythmic-folk, groovy yet easy-listening.
Since settling in the Annapolis Valley in 2016, he has become a regular at local wineries, pubs, events, hotel entertainment, and music venues, performing engaging solo sets. His music journey has also led to stages overseas in Hong Kong, Singapore and Los Angeles.
October 30 - richard white & sam wilson
A veteran of the Montreal jazz scene, Richard has recently relocated to Nova Scotia. He studied music at Concordia University with Charles Ellison and Dave Turner, as well as composition and improvisation with guitarist Brad Shepik in New York City. He co-founded the group godsoftaste with long standing collaborators Adrian Vedady, Kate Wyatt and Greg Ritchie. Richard has performed at the Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa Jazz Festivals, and has worked with David Binney, Donny McCauslin, George Garzone, Oliver Jones, Nikki Yanofsky, Chet Doxas, Remi Bolduc and many others. He is currently a member of the Mike Murley Trio, along with bassist Tom Easley.
Sam Wilson is a canadian guitarist whose practice as a performer-composer focuses on creating jazz-adjacent music for improvisers. Her current artistic muse is wild spaces and site specific responses, you can hear this on her recent release ‘Wintertides’; a trio project featuring Vancouver based musicians Jen Yakamovich and Geordie Hart. It is inspired by contrasting landscapes and the collaboration of bi-coastal communities. Wilson's albums ‘Into a Heart Pt. II’, ‘New Doors’ (Jackson\Wilson Duo), and ‘Wintertides’ have won Music Nova Scotia’s ‘Jazz Recording of the year’ in 2022, 2023 ad 2025. In 2021 Sam won the Paul Cram Creation award and composed ‘Recover-we’, her first piece for orchestra which was performed by Symphony Nova Scotia at the 2023 Open Waters Festival. Sam frequently performs around the east coast and across Canada, open to collaboration from working in the improvised music community to supporting popular artists such as Laura Roy.
