Nina

Nina has been guiding yoga and meditation since 2012 and hosting circles around the fire since 2018. She grew up in Halifax, lived and learned yoga in Toronto, and made her way back East in 2013.

Her joys are family, community, nature and service. She lives in the woods with her three sons, beloved husband and dog, Murphy. Her days are filled with homeschooling adventures, gardening, reading, time outside and community building. Nina continues to study yoga and enjoys offering various styles, classes and workshops around Hants County.

Farron

Instructor, Farron Chandler, was introduced to yoga, Tai Chi, Meridian stretching and various other eastern healing arts in the 1990’s. He went on to study Shiatsu therapy, Acupressure and was introduced to Ayurveda in 2002 studying with Dr Shiva Varma who taught him Ayurvedic philosophy and Panchakarma treatments.

Having suffered a back injury resulting in loss of mobility and horrible pain in 2006, Farron renewed his interest in yoga and gently practiced asana to alleviate the symptoms and eventually became pain free, regaining his mobility. This led him to enrolling in the Yoga Teachers Training at the Salt Spring Centre of yoga. He has been teaching since 2009. In 2023 Farron ventured to Costa Rica to Pura Veda Gurukalum for additional training. Farron teaches a blend of hatha and vinyasa styles of yoga.

Farron believes the body has great healing potential and empowers others on their own healing journey.
